Daily classes

Classes operate on a term by term basis exactly like the school year. There are 4 terms a year. Classes operate from Mon – Friday. There are two sessions every day:

Morning session               9.30am – 11.30am           2 classes
Afternoon session           12.30pm – 2.30pm           Some days have 1 and /or 2 classes

Some evening classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Evening session                7pm – 9pm         Tuesday 2 x classes, Wed & Thurs x 1 class only

The classes usually have 8 students however sometimes we have a maximum of 10 students per class. The smaller class means the teacher is better able to provide each student with some individual time.

Children’s classes

Children’s classes are held on a Tuesday and a Wednesday after school

Session Times:  4:00pm – 6:00pm

The children range in ages from 7 years to 17 years. They are provided with a snack during the session. They are provided with kits for all the projects they work on. The kit cost in included in the term fee. We aim to introduce the children to a wide variety of different needlework. Their age and ability is taken into account when selecting the projects for them to work on. The maximum number of children per class is eight so that they can get the best help with their work.

School Holiday Program

Every school holiday we hold classes on the Wednesday and/or the Thursday of the second week of the holidays.

Session Times:                        10:00am – 3:00pm

Session Cost:                          $50.00

Session includes lunch and afternoon tea break and the cost of the kit. The children are usually able to complete their project during the day. Children are accepted from 7 years to 17 years of age. The emphasis is on fun and learning something new.
